Wild Blueberry Muffins

No late frosts this year means a wild blueberry crop - at least in my corner of the woods!

An afternoon of conversational picking yielded a nice bowlful...

And a batch of whole grain wild blueberry muffins! (vegan + oil and sugar free)

Presided over by a lovely daisy from the garden :)

Tasty with a dab of Maple syrup :)

If I ever actually follow a recipe or measure precisely - I might post a recipe...

They were quite tasty :) truth be known - sugar free was an accident - I just forgot it! Next time, I'm thinking of tossing in some orange juice concentrate for a fun twist :)

I'm so amazed that you have wild blueberries there already! Here the berries (huckleberries, at least) don't ripen until August at the earliest. I hope there are still some left when we get over there (wild berries, that is.)
Your muffins look delicious. We should get together and cook sometime--we recipeless cooks have to stick together. :) I love you, Caitlin!
