Permission for a food fight ?

A rule of etiquette from the 1530's:

"If you can't swallow a piece of food, turn around discreetly and throw it somewhere."

Let me clarify... I would like to know where you found out that that was a rule of etiquette back in the 16th century :)

hmmm... you know I can't recall where it was anymore :)
perhaps this demonstrates the importance of citing sources... you'll just have to take my word for it, since I took thier word for it... this is quite faulty logic - do as you please :)
