To Traverse the Tennessee

So there are three dots out in their in the lake...
The dots have names: John, Heather, and Caitlin.
We didn't start out in the lake though.
We started out on a sailboat.
It was a lovely day - not a cloud in the sky!
There also was no wind to be found...
So upon dropping anchor along one side of the Tennessee river we decided
to test our skills at traversing its width.
In one of my natural habitats :)
....somewhere in the middle....
Timothy and Shama enjoying the ride!
Twas a fantastic trip!

You didn't see any pirates, did you?

That looks like so much fun! I've always wanted to try sailing. LOL One of my first experiences at Cherokee, was when Chad and I were paddling for all we were worth trying to catch up to and "board" the "sailing ships of upper Saranac" :)

It was fun! We need to do it again when there's a little more wind and the water's a little warmer!

Joel: Haha! You should come sometime :) No pirates - only a chivalrous chef timothy who dressed up in a collared shirt and corduroy pants for the occasion... and a lovely red-haired captain who stepped in to man the boat and look out for the bobbing people in the lake during the crossing.

Teddy: You would LOVE sailing Teddy! Although since I haven't experience the full wind effect I certainly am not as educated to speak as some :) I think I'm getting hooked on fresh water treks! I've been thinking of new ideas :)

John: Thanks again! It was certainly a memorable experience :) I'd be honored to sail again sometime!
