For Emily Knott

An Artist's Prayer

I breath in black,

Hear in white.

My sight is numbed

To shades of night.

My heart is grey,

Scetched in graphite.

Taste of Charcoal

Smudges light.

Penciled grey,

Precise, alone.

Soft goose down

Safe as stone.

Erase my limits,

Alter my hues.

Blend dimensions

Into my veiw.

Blush me with

Your scented rain.

Awesome, Caitlin! I wish I were an artist so that I could more thoroughly understand the whole thing, but I did catch the theme. :D Love you!

Oh you dear girl...thank you...and memories of a dock-sit with water lapping against it, and the moon and stars and an awesome picture of Grayson and light and turtles that made me cry... I miss you!
